Family Medicine Physician

Alliance is looking to add a new Board-Certified Family Practitioner to our growing team. We have been voted Colorado Springs Best Practices - Voted top doctor in Colorado Springs for 10 years in a row.

We provide a collegial atmosphere within a provider owned and run medical group, offering a full-range of benefits to include medical, dental, vision, professional expense reimbursement, CME, and an incentive bonus structure.

This is strictly an outpatient position, with No OB or inpatient medicine, seeing a wide range of patients from children to older adults with some Urgent Care. Our clinic has onsite lab, x-ray, ultrasound, cardiac stress, and multiple procedure rooms offering full scope medicine opportunities. We contract with both third party and government payors to provide evidenced based patient care while actively participating as a Patient Centered Medical Home.

Schedule is structured on consistent four 10-hr days per week.

Patient Technician

We believe our patients select us because of our caring and attentive staff who are focused on our mission of providing efficient service and meaningful care experiences centered around the healing ministry of Christ. 

The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience with direct patient care, to include a broad scope of technical abilities: injections, phlebotomy, EKG, procedure assist, rapid lab testing, hearing testing, etc..

1+ years of clinical experience preferred. 


Sample Shift (10 hour days): 

Monday 8:00am-6:30pm (*off) 

Tuesday 8:00am – 6:30pm 

Wednesday 8:45am – 7:00pm (close) 

Thursday OFF 

Friday 8:00am – 6:30pm 

*Saturday (rotational – every 6 weeks, 8am-3pm. * If work Saturday, then have Monday off) 

 

Summary: Assists in a clinical capacity with clinic preparations and patient documentation to support patient centered care in an ambulatory practice setting as part of a collaborative team. 


Essential Job duties: 

- Carry out clinical tasks as directed by the physician or provider team by taking medical histories, recording vital signs, explaining treatment procedures to patients, preparing patients for examination, and assisting the physician during examinations. 

- Accomplish technical procedures as assigned/delegated: ECG’s, minor surgical interventions, administer injections, establishing IV access, collecting specimens, phlebotomy and other lab assignments. 

- Will perform minor administrative duties (patient call backs), and assist with minor upkeep of the clinic: keeping patient rooms clean, stocked, orderly, etc. 

- Requires critical thinking skills and be able to work with minimal supervision. 


Qualifications: EMT- B (+IV or phlebotomy certification), Medical Assisting certificate, military, or related experience + college degree.

Be consistently on time and present to the scheduled shifts. Can work with patients of all ages and backgrounds. Possess knowledge of business office procedures. Possess strong communication skills (in person or over the phone). Have knowledge of computer systems / accurate typing with moderate speed required (50 wpm). Possess the ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with patients, employees and the public. Can communicate fluidly with patients and staff in English. Is well organized and detail-oriented. Can multi task, complete assigned tasks as indicated under essential job duties, and work as a team 




Medical Administrative Assistant

The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience in both Medical Administration and some accounts receivable functions.

1+ years of clinical experience preferred. 


Sample Shift (10 hour days): 

Monday 7:50AM-5:00pm (*off) 

Tuesday 7:50am – 6:00pm 

Wednesday 8:00am – 7:00pm (close) 

Thursday OFF 

Friday 8:00am – 7:00pm 

*Saturday (rotational – every 6 weeks, 8am-3pm. * If work Saturday, then have Monday off)

Qualifications: 1 year previous medical administration and ambulatory care experience preferred. 


The Ideal Medical Administrative Assistant candidate: Supports our mission and values. Be a person of good moral and ethical character. Will have prior medical administrative Family Practice experience. Can work 10 hr scheduled duty days around our hours of operation. Be consistently on time and present to the scheduled shifts. Can work with patients and co-workers of all ages and backgrounds. Possess knowledge of business office procedures and use of a multi-line phone system. Possess strong communication skills (in person and over the phone). Have knowledge of computer systems / accurate typing with moderate speed required (50 wpm). Will maintain the establishment of professional working relationships with patients, employees and the public. Can communicate fluidly with patients and staff in English (both written and oral). Is well organized, detail-oriented, can multi task, complete assigned tasks, and work as a team.
